Role Overview:
We are seeking a Quality & Process Improvement Manager to lead continuous improvement initiatives, oversee ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) implementation, and assist the Executive Director in tracking project progress and following up on action plans at Kuala Langat site. This role is crucial in ensuring that NSIP maintains world-class operational standards while driving efficiency and quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) & Compliance
- Establish, implement, and maintain the ISO 9001 QMS framework, ensuring compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Develop and update quality policies, procedures, and documentation in alignment with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions to uphold quality standards.
- Train and support teams on QMS implementation, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors and certification bodies to ensure successful ISO 9001 compliance and recertification.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify and implement process optimization strategies to improve operational efficiency across NSIP projects.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven approaches to enhance workflow productivity and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Oversee digital transformation initiatives that support process automation and smarter reporting systems.
Project Tracking & Executive Support
- Assist the Executive Director in monitoring project milestones, key deliverables, and execution timelines.
- Develop and maintain a real-time tracking system for project progress, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Follow up on action plans, decisions, and task completions, ensuring accountability across teams.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive reviews.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, sub- contractors, and external stakeholders to align project quality objectives.
- Facilitate cross-functional engagement, ensuring seamless execution of quality and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Process Management, Operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management, process improvement, or project tracking, preferably in industrial/ Business Park, real estate/ property, or construction sectors.
- Proven expertise in ISO 9001 QMS implementation, audits, and compliance management.
- Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in project tracking and reporting, working closely with senior leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
