We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR team in fostering a thriving workplace where colleagues feel valued, engaged, and empowered. As the Director of Human Resources, you will provide leadership, direction, and guidance in all aspects of HR management. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the hotel's and department's goals by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, ensuring a positive work culture, and driving HR strategies that enhance organizational success.

Job Summary

  • Provide HR strategic leadership and a full suite of HR functional and operational support.
  • Take charge of manpower planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Take charge of recruitment and selection, induction, and orientation, learning and development, staff welfare, industrial relations, and all other HR matters.
  • Maintain a highly engaging culture, motivate employees, foster an environment with high levels of teamwork, accountability, communication, and vision to employees.
  • Develop and implement hotel-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer and property associates.
  • Develop partnerships with training institutions and government bodies to support business needs and long-term skills development of colleagues in local area.

Requirement

  • Seasoned HR professional with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Degree holder in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, industrial relations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communicator & relationship builder – able to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a strategic mindset and a passion for people’s development.
  • A collaborative leader who can drive positive change and inspire a culture of excellence.
