Brew Crew Opportunity
Our Global Brew Crew is seeking a Executive, Compliance & Governance responsible for ensuring the company adheres to relevant Malaysian laws, regulations, and internal policies through relevant monitoring, conducting risk assessments, implementing compliance frameworks, and promoting a culture of ethical behavior.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage regulatory compliance including inspections, documentation and visits with authorities such as DOE, DOSH, BOMBA, local authority and industrial authority.
- Track changes in Malaysian laws and regulations impacting the company and updating internal policies accordingly.
- Identify potential compliance risks across business operations and developing mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures, ensuring clear communication and training for employees.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess adherence to compliance standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate potential compliance breaches and taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance awareness and promote a culture of ethical conduct.
- Generate compliance reports for management, highlighting key risks and areas of concern.
- Assist with external regulatory audits by providing relevant documentation and information.
Corporate Governance: -
- Develop corporate governance frameworks, policies, and procedures with external regulatory audits by providing relevant documentation and information.
- Support the management of board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and documentation.
- Facilitate governance training programs for employees and management.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on governance-related risks and developments.
Risk, Ethics & Safety Management: -
- Support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies in collaboration with various departments.
- Promote awareness of ethical business practices and compliance requirements through training sessions.
- Assist in investigating and addressing compliance and governance breaches.
- Maintain and update the company’s risk register and compliance tracking mechanisms.
- Ensure workplace safety policies and procedures are in line with DOSH Malaysia guidelines.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Provide guidance and training on occupational safety standards and best practices.
- Assist in accident investigation and implementation of corrective actions.
Your Ingredients
- Candidate must possess a Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management, Law, Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience in experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Malaysia HSE Laws and Regulations.
- Experience in compliance auditing and risk assessment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders.
