The Assistant Manager in the Finance Department will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, reporting performance, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning. - Assist Superior and Management to ensure Group Finance operations and functions run effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare full set of accounts, including managing Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable and accounts related reconciliations as well as handling taxation matters.
- Involve in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Collate information and conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Work closely with external auditors, Company Secretary and others to ensure regulatory filing and compliance matters are adhered to.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Assist with finance process improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Assist in any other ad-hoc projects or assignments as required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with previous experience in a professional services firm being advantageous.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, and well-versed with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, fostering strong interpersonal relationships.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to multi-task, with good time management skills, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
