The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of small to mid-sized advertising projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations. This role involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to execution, monitoring, and closure. The Project Manager will work independently on some projects and support senior team members on larger engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, manage changes, evaluate project performance, and control project scope.
- Clearly define task expectations and deliverables for all team members involved, communicating effectively and providing necessary documentation and resources.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients on assigned projects, managing expectations and providing regular updates
- Proactively identify, assess, and communicate potential project risks.
- Continuously monitor project progress, including lifecycle analysis, resource management, detailed timelines/schedules, budget tracking, and production feedback. Collaborate with the team and make necessary adjustments.
- Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including creative, digital and client services.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Client facing ability to ensure confidence and satisfaction are achievable.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of project management experience in an advertising agency environment, managing a variety of project types is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively across departments and with diverse teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly related to workflow and internal processes.
- Extensive vendor network understanding and cost breakdown experience
