Junior Software Quality Assurance
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Software Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting manual test cases to ensure software applications meet quality standards. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify defects and ensure smooth software functionality.
Key Responsibilities:Test Case Design & Execution
- Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create test cases.
- Execute test cases manually and report defects.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs using a defect tracking system (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Functional & Non-Functional Testing
- Perform functional, regression, usability, integration, and system testing.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing for web and mobile applications.
- Verify software behavior under different conditions.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand project requirements.
- Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and potential improvements.
- Participate in test planning and review meetings.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
- Prepare test summary reports and communicate testing progress.
Continuous Improvement
- Suggest process improvements and best practices for manual testing.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and industry trends.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
