We are looking for a Business Development & Operations Intern who will be working on identifying new markets, acquiring new B2B sales leads and sales operations for Sunway XFarms. This role offers hands-on experience in business development, events & corporate workshops planning and executions, providing valuable exposure to various aspects of the industry. You will be working with an experienced startup-minded team and directly under both the Business Development & Marketing team of Sunway XFarms. The best of both worlds – you will be part of a successful conglomerate entity, while enjoying the perks and adrenaline of being in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with driving growth and developing strategic plans and strategies in areas such as business development, sales, partnerships & client retention
- Assist with lead generation and acquisition of a wide array of B2B clients for Workshops, Wellness and Merchandise accounts.
- Manage relationships with B2B clients by providing professional and excellent customer service
- Support strategic and daily business which includes expanding the business in current markets as well as developing new markets
- Take charge of events and corporate/community workshop planning and execution
- Assist with social media content creation
- Assist the team in terms of running the day-to-day operations, including reporting, performance tracking etc
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and network & attend important industry events
- Any ad-hoc activities as and when assigned

- Background in CRM, sales, and business development would be preferred
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Mass Communications, Entrepreneurship Events, or similar subjects (not compulsory but passion for sales and business development is what is needed)
- Possess a car and willing to travel around
