About The Job

We are looking for a highly analytical and data-driven Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging data to drive growth, customer segmentation, and personalized strategies, enabling the bank to better understand its users and optimize offerings. You will play a crucial role in developing insights that drive data-backed decisions and enhance the customer experience. Proficiency in Metabase, SQL, and other data platforms is essential to analyze large datasets, quickly create dashboards, and deliver visual graphs to communicate insights effectively.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Growth Analysis & Insights:

    • Analyze customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth across various customer segments.

    • Develop and implement growth tracking frameworks, measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, product offerings, and customer engagement strategies.

    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user acquisition, GTV, MAU, MTU, DAU, retention, and overall growth to provide actionable insights for optimization.


  • Segmentation & Targeting:

    • Work with the marketing and product teams to create and refine customer segments based on behavior, demographics, and other relevant attributes.

    • Develop segmented marketing strategies and campaigns to target specific segments, improving customer engagement and lifetime value.

    • Create models to predict customer behaviors and preferences, and use this data to inform targeted initiatives and campaigns.


  • Personalized Data Tracking & Reporting:

    • Set up and manage personalized tracking for key customer actions and interactions across digital platforms, ensuring relevant data is captured and analyzed.

    • Develop customized reports and dashboards using Metabase, SQL, and other business intelligence tools to provide real-time insights to stakeholders.

    • Create dynamic visual graphs and dashboards that effectively represent complex data, making it easy for non-technical stakeholders to understand and make decisions based on insights.

    • Present findings and insights to business teams and senior management to guide decision-making and strategic direction.


  • Data Collection & Analysis:

    • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of data by working with data engineers to improve data collection and analysis processes.

    • Use SQL to query large datasets, perform in-depth data analysis, and support the team with data-driven insights.

    • Provide ad-hoc reporting and insights to assist with specific business needs, as requested by key stakeholders.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven strategies.

    • Collaborate with data engineering teams to refine data pipelines, ensuring that relevant customer data is being tracked and analyzed for growth initiatives.

    • Assist in the creation and implementation of experiments and A/B testing to optimize customer journeys and conversion rates.


  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data analytics, business intelligence, and digital banking to ensure the bank stays ahead in terms of analytics capabilities.

    • Proactively identify new areas of opportunity for data usage, growth strategies, and personalized marketing initiatives.

    • Provide suggestions for improving business processes and performance based on data insights.


Requirements:
  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a similar role, preferably within the fintech or digital banking sector.

    • Proven experience working with SQL, Metabase, Google Analytics, Looker Studio or similar data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms.

    • Strong experience in segmentation, growth tracking, and developing personalized strategies for digital platforms.


  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.

    • Hands-on experience with Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting and data visualization tools.

    • Ability to create and manage dashboards and visual graphs that translate complex data into clear, digestible insights.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from large datasets and translate them into actionable recommendations.

    • Experience with customer segmentation, cohort analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.

    • Knowledge of digital banking products, customer acquisition strategies, and user behavior tracking.

    • Excellent communication skills to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify key insights and trends within complex datasets.
