Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely collections of receivables in accordance to credit term and follow-up regularly on overdue accounts with branches and departments.
  • Monitor practices and procedures in credit control processes and where necessary make recommendations.
  • Compile and proof-read reporting.
  • Ensure all control requirements met on a timely basis and compliance policy.
  • Maintain up-to-date report submission for management review and perform any duties assigned by superior from time to time.
  • Perform ad hoc or special request reporting, analysis, highlight issues and follow up outstanding matters.
  • Proactive identification and resolution of potential overdue accounts.
  • Liaising with sales, parts and service team to strategize to reduce outstanding amount.
  • Monitoring debtor's balances to reduce the number of accounts to fall into bad debts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable management, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make sound credit decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in credit management.
