Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled M&E Project Manager with expertise in industrial HVAC systems to lead project deployments and oversee mechanical and electrical (M&E) operations. As an M&E Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects that deploy advanced AI and IoT-driven HVAC solutions across large-scale industrial sites. This is a leadership role where engineers and project managers are key decision-makers—your expertise will directly impact project success, energy savings, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle project execution for AI-driven HVAC optimization, from planning to commissioning.
  • Oversee the installation and integration of electrical and mechanical components (e.g., controllers, power meters, IoT gateways, sensors).
  • Lead on-site teams and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control to meet cost and timeline targets.
  • Work closely with AI and engineering teams to align deployment with technical innovations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve M&E challenges, ensuring projects meet high safety and industry standards.
  • Represent Axross in client meetings, industry discussions, and regulatory compliance matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience managing industrial M&E projects, preferably in HVAC systems.
  • Strong understanding of M&E systems, project management, and compliance standards.
  • Ability to lead teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of IoT, automation, or energy efficiency solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Malaysian market, local suppliers, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • REEM certification highly encouraged.
