Job Summary:

The Executive – Operations is responsible for managing and coordinating daily bus services, ensuring efficient route planning, driver management, and compliance with operational standards. This role involves monitoring fleet performance, handling administrative tasks, and improving service quality to enhance passenger satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily bus operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and route optimization.
  • Monitor fleet movement and address any operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, or accidents.
  • Ensure adherence to transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely servicing and repairs of buses.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain and update operational records, including driver logs, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules.
  • Prepare reports on fleet performance, operational efficiency, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in budget planning and cost control measures for bus operations.
  • Manage permits, licenses, and regulatory documentation for the fleet.

Personnel & Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Liaise with drivers, dispatchers, and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct driver briefings, training sessions, and performance monitoring.
  • Address and resolve driver or staff concerns to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Work with external agencies, authorities, and stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.

Customer Service & Quality Control:

  • Respond to passenger inquiries, complaints, and feedback to improve service quality.
  • Implement service improvement plans to enhance reliability and passenger experience.
  • Monitor and enforce safety and service standards across operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in bus operations, logistics, or transportation management (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and fleet management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with periodic site visits to depots and bus stations.
  • May require working in shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
