Resident Architect
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Architect to join our team for an exciting and challenging high-rise mixed-use development project in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design and execution of the project, ensuring it meets all client expectations, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks.
As the Resident Architect, you will play a key role in the leadership and management of the architectural team, collaborating with engineers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project. You will be based on-site and directly oversee all architectural activities during construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the architectural team throughout the construction of the high-rise building, ensuring the design is executed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the client, project manager, engineers, and contractors to ensure the project progresses smoothly and meets budget and timeline constraints.
- Provide guidance and leadership on design and technical issues, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.
- Conduct site visits regularly to oversee construction progress, resolve design and construction challenges, and ensure quality assurance.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and construction methodologies.
- Address and resolve design changes or issues that arise during construction, working closely with the project team.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and health and safety regulations.
- Monitor project performance and ensure that project milestones are achieved within the given timeframe.
- Manage communication between the design team and contractors, ensuring that architectural specifications are correctly implemented on-site.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
