Senior Injection Molding Technician

PPI - PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT Position: Injection Molding Technician Job Summary: • The Technician is responsible for Setup/maintain/Repair of Injection moulding Facilities, such as Injection moulding Machine, Auxiliary equipment and other moulding related Facilities. • The successful candidate should have minimum of 2 years’ experience of “hands-on” Injection molding and similar experience. • The position will require competencies that include molding, Tooling, quality inspection and minor supervision. Responsibilities: • Setup Machine according to Work Order requirement. • Troubleshoot and adjust molding parameters to maintain quality and maximize production output at the same time reduce rejection Rate, Maintaining Production Yield of >0.98 . • Make minor/Basic Repair or maintenance to machine, tooling and equipment and notify proper personnel of necessary major repair. • Perform proper operation Training to Operator, make sure Operator Understand the workflow and SOP. • Coordinate Tooling and Equipment availability, Repair and Maintenance. • Any ad hoc task as assigned by superior. Job Requirements: • Must have minimum of 2 years in a Manufacturing Field. • Must possess strong Follow-Up Skill, Responsible and ready to work long hour. • Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Plastics or Engineering OR 2 years hands-on work Experience in Related Field.
