Managing and organizing overall activities on operations by emphasizing Pos Malaysia’s core business without fail. Managing day-to-day operations at the state which includes Pick-up activities, Middle Mile (PosLaju & Mail Processing), Last Mile (Delivery of Mails & PosLaju items) at the best quality and cost. Planning and take actions on continues changes related to the operations, maintenance of equipment and building safety to improve service performance. Responsible on maintenance of Pos Malaysia assets with assistance from support unit.Job Description Form Responsible and ensuring all operations branches’ Acceptance, Mail & Pos Laju Branches comply with, standard operating Procedures/work instructions, Company Policies, Act and regulatory requirements. To perform regular/scheduled audit, inspection and ‘turun padang’ activities to check and observe compliance level and improvement. Responsible and managing of resources at state to ensure adequate resources all the time to avoid failure at any point of-operations. Prepare and regularly update pick-up, processing, and delivery capacity to ensure good productivity and cost management. Provide adequate annual AMP (CAPEX and OPEX), for the needs of all off Branches. To ensure operations tools, IT peripheral to accept, process, transport and deliver mails/Poslaju products sufficient at state. Promote and execute process improvement within the state to ensure efficient and smooth operations that also produce the highest quality or product and services. Responsible to identify risk related to operations to take immediate corrective or preventive actions to mitigate the risk. Provide daily feedback and performance report to the management on any matters pertaining to operations and state administrative. Responsible for collecting, observing, and gathering data/information when required by headquarters. Communicate effectively at all levels of operations. Provide leadership, guidance, and steer subordinates to achieve higher work quality and productivity. Build Trust: Ensure good communication within the team and other stakeholders. Develop a good rapport through consistent engagement and cordial relationships. Representing Pos Malaysia as liaison officer with state government. Provide leadership and guidance to subordinates. One Team: • Ensure good coordination and teamwork between unit/department. Responsible on maintenance all of Pos Malaysia asset with assistance from support unit. Steer subordinates to achieve higher work quality and productivity. Move Fast: • Proactive and aggressive in any action to meet current operational requirements.
