Process / Tooling Engineer

- Support NPI & Engineering team during all phases of product introduction (launch and sustaining). - Possess and understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM). - Read and understand the 2D drawing involving the product process Involve in the process of production from first phase untill the final stage - Prepare and analyze the process according to sample measurement and requirements - Inspect and check the end product and ensure the specification is achieved as requested - Learn each of the manufacturing process areas to understand trial/cutover impacts. - Responsible for the development of safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing processes and procedures - Prepares engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; entering data and generating reports and presentations; performing calculations - Evaluate processes for updating techniques, quality, and overall efficiency to improve manufacturing operations - Write and review Engineering Change Order (ECO’s) - Designs, writes, and prepare visual aids, drawings or work instructions for the assembly of cables using standard specifications, policies, and guidelines - Assure procedures and documents are within compliance of ISO-9001 - Review of product design drawings - Perform time and motion studies - Participate and suggest cost reduction and process improvement initiatives - Work to improve the manufacturability of our products - Support and lead continuous improvement efforts within and outside the responsible department - Follow applicable safety, quality, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Expertise/Skills: • Actively pursuing a bachelor degree in Industrial, Mechanical ,Electrical engineering or related technical discipline • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work alone, or in a team environment with limited supervision • Acts in an ethical and truthful manner, leading by example and earning the respect and trust of co-workers, customers, and other stakeholders • Flexible and adaptive • Delivers commitments, producing work of the highest quality in a timely and effective manner. • Preferable to read and speak English Qualifications: • Excellent communication (oral & written), • Leadership, motivational, and presentation skills • Planning, organizational and time management • Good judgment and decision making • Effective in working both independently and in a team setting • Interact with all levels of the organization • PC: Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Project • Attention to details and follow-up • Above average computer skills to enable incumbent to utilize database, spreadsheet, word processing programs, statistical and Computer Aided Drafting programs
