OPERATIONS MANAGER

• Oversee all farm activities, including prawn breeding, feeding, pond maintenance and harvesting. • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of tiger prawn farming. • Monitor water quality parameters and ensure optimal pond conditions for healthy prawn growth. • Develop production schedules to meet market demand and company goals. • Optimize prawn growth cycles and harvesting schedules for maximum yield and quality. • Analyze production data and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce losses. • Manage farm equipment, feed and other essential resources. • Plan and monitor inventory levels to ensure timely availability of feed and other farming inputs. • Ensure proper maintenance and repair of farm machinery and infrastructure. • Ensure adherence to food safety, environmental and aquaculture regulations. • Implement quality control procedures to maintain product standards. • Monitor and control disease prevention measures. • Prepare and manage operational budgets, including forecasting and cost control. • Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective farm operations. • Prepare financial and operational reports for management. • Supervise and train farm staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Build a high-performing team through mentorship and skills development programs. • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. • Liaise with feed suppliers, equipment vendors and other stakeholders. • Maintain positive relationships with government agencies and regulatory authorities.
