Job Description - Assist with developing and maintaining a high level of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) awareness and practice to any WSH instruction, procedures, standard or policy - Assist with developing and maintaining WSH Management System - Manage and assist to develop performance monitoring, analysis and reporting of site WSH performance - Review all risk assessments, safety and health plan and other related documents submitted by contractors - Conduct WSH site inspections and recommend corrective actions to general contractor/subcontractors and submit report of findings and follow-up action to be taken - Conduct WSH physical and documentation audits to identify hazards, unsafe act/condition and relevant gaps - Responsible for site contractors oversight and supervision in terms of WSH - Ensuring compliance of site activities with statutory requirements, project specific EHS plan, guidelines and Equalbase WSH Minimum Performance Standards for Construction - Ensure accurate, comprehensive and timely reporting of site WSH performance, daily and weekly site report or any relevant reporting requirements - Responsible to stop and intervene any unsafe act/condition - Assist with investigation of any accident, near-miss, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease - Perform any other relevant duties as instructed Job Requirement - Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health - Minimum 5 years of working experience in construction industry - Compulsory experience working as a main contractor - Able to work independently and enforce compliance of regulatory requirements - Possess positive attitude, discipline, good interpersonal skills and systematic - Strong attention to detail, while also able to see long-term strategic improvements and developments
