We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Media Manager to oversee the media planning process for clients with strong global brand presence. In this role, the incumbent will manage a team handling key accounts, developing and executing media strategies that align with client objectives. Expertise in Sri Lankan and Indian audience analytics and consumer behavior is highly valued. JOB RESPONSIBILITY (but are not limited to): - Responsible for excellent client relationship - To explore new media/ other advertising opportunities to enhance campaign effectiveness and meet client’s objectives. - Drive strategy development and identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships. - Ensure work delivered to client is of highest standard; review all key documents and presentations prior to distribution - To monitor competitors' market updates and advertising strategy. - Supervise media marketplace to ensure team remains updated on the latest media trends. - Lead presentations to clients and brain-storming sessions for upcoming campaign and launch of new products - Support with campaign briefing – providing comments on target, channel, budget, timeline - Drive new business development with planners and participating in pitches. - Champion innovative media solutions in every media plan and push the boundaries of conventional communication thinking - Work with internal specialist units to deliver the best response/service to clients - Develop close relationships with internal agency partners, key media partners and external agencies (e.g. Meta, Google, TikTok etc) - Train and coach team to ensure high skill and competency levels. - Have a solid understanding of both offline and digital media channels - Any additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior. LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT - Assume day to day responsibility for entire account, working with individual client teams - Support the Associate Director in managing the team - Ensure financial reconciliations successfully - Identify organic growth via incremental revenue opportunities - Inspire the team, leading by example, providing clear direction, feedback and support. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - At least 5 years of manager’s experience working agency-side in an international media agency with an understanding of Media Markets - Familiarity with Sri Lankan and Indian audience analytics and consumer behaviour will be prioritized. - Must have a strong digital knowledge, both across planning and activation - Strong excel skills and experience writing media plans - Eye for detail. Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills - Comfortable working with corporate clients - Ability to work under pressure and multiple deadlines - Strong interpersonal skills, build excellent working relationships with colleagues
