JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Efficiently set up and operate the CNC milling machine, ensuring high precision and quality of parts produced. Create and modify CAM programs for various machining tasks to optimize machine performance and part quality. Manufacture and modify electrodes and sub-inserts to meet production requirements, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Generate innovative ideas and implement modifications to tooling to improve machining efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality. Design, fabricate, and test jigs and fixtures to enhance manufacturing processes and ensure accurate and repeatable machining. Utilize 3D software like Unigraphics for designing parts and tooling. Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage. Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a CNC machining or related field. Provide proactive and timely technical support to the production team to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. Take initiative and work independently, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision. Perform any additional tasks or duties as assigned by superiors or management to support the business needs. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Certificate or Diploma in tool & die-making discipline with specialization in tool fitting, assembly & basic design. Minimum 4 years of working experience in a related field Proven experience operating CNC Milling machines, specifically the Makino S33. Strong knowledge of CAM programming and related software. Familiarity with electrode and sub-insert fabrication. Ability to design and fabricate jigs and fixtures. Proficiency in 3D software such as Unigraphics (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus). Ability to troubleshoot and provide production support to minimize downtime. Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility. Willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
