Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor will manage and coordinate all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and staff supervision. This role ensures that warehouse activities are executed in a timely, efficient, and safe manner while maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Staff Supervision & Training: Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates. Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance. Provide ongoing training and development for staff. Maintain high levels of employee engagement and safety. Inventory Management: Oversee the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory. Ensure accurate stock levels and conduct regular stock counts and audits. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to prevent stock discrepancies. Handle damaged or returned goods appropriately. Operations Management: Monitor and optimize warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Ensure the proper organization and storage of inventory within the warehouse. Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring they are timely and accurate. Oversee order picking, packing, and shipping activities to meet delivery deadlines. Address operational issues promptly, including equipment failures or delays. Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols to create a safe work environment for all staff. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations (OSHA, etc.). Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards. Manage accident/incident investigations as needed. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, shipping, and employee performance. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, shipments, and inventories. Ensure proper documentation for shipments, receipts, and deliveries. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. Address customer complaints or concerns related to warehouse operations. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., customer service) to meet customer needs.
