Job Requirement 1. Have at least a Diploma or a related field from a recognized university; or 2. Have SPM with at least 3 years of work experience in the plantation/agricultural sector; or 3. Have sufficient experience in plantation/agriculture operations, which is deemed as adequate by the management/ senior officials 4. Organized, pragmatic, proactive, and result-oriented. 5. Basic: RM2,500 (3-month probation period, with an increment based on performance) Job Scopes: 1. Managing and Running Production: - Production Oversight: Involved in running the production line, ensuring that everything is operating at full capacity, hit KPI, meeting deadlines, and adhering to quality standards. - Process Optimization: Responsible for monitoring production workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and making adjustments to improve efficiency. This might include adjusting machine settings, reorganizing workstations, or tweaking schedules. - Material Management: Ensure raw materials are available, and managing the flow of materials to ensure there’s no disruption in production. Involved in inventory control to prevent shortages or excess. 2. Basic Mechanical Repair and Troubleshooting: - Repairing Equipment: Skills to troubleshoot and make basic repairs to machinery, reducing downtime eg fixing motors, belts, hydraulics, electrical systems, or other mechanical components. - Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and machinery to ensure that everything is running smoothly and preventing major breakdowns eg oiling parts, checking for wear and tear, and addressing minor issues before they escalate. - Collaboration with Technicians: Works with skilled technicians for more complex repairs but may still be responsible for identifying issues and providing them with the necessary information to fix the problem. 3. Team Leadership and Training: - Team Support: Ensure that the team follows safety protocols, meets productivity targets, and addresses any concerns or issues that arise. - Training: Train new employees or providing existing team members with additional training on production processes, safety standards, and basic troubleshooting skills, including mechanical fixes. - Hands-On Leadership: Actively involved in demonstrating processes, solving problems on the floor, and helping workers with their tasks, particularly when technical skills or troubleshooting are needed. 4. Quality Control: - Ensure Product Quality: Ensure that products meet quality standards by inspecting samples or reviewing worker performance to confirm the final product meets the required specifications. 5. Safety and Compliance: - Safety Protocols: Ensure that the factory adheres to health and safety standards, which includes ensuring that equipment is safe to operate, the work environment is secure, and workers are following safety procedures. - Emergency Response: Know how to quickly address the issue when accidents or breakdowns occur, whether that’s fixing a machine on the spot or leading workers through emergency procedures. 6. Reporting and Communication: - Regular Updates: Provides regular updates to higher management on production progress, issues encountered, and any machine repairs or maintenance performed. - Documentation: Keeping detailed records of machine repairs, maintenance schedules, production numbers, and worker attendance for reporting purposes.
