Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical thinker to join our Credit Control team as an Intern. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. As the gatekeeper for customer credit facilities, you will play a crucial role in governing the setup and maintenance of customer master data, ensuring suitable credit terms, limits, and risk classifications are applied. You will also gain hands-on experience in assessing customer payment behaviour and supporting order release decisions. Job Responsibilities

  • Customer Master Data Governance: Review and validate customer credit applications, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial guidelines.
  • Credit Risk Assessment: Analyse financial information and payment history to assign appropriate credit limits and terms.
  • Data Accuracy & Compliance: Maintain and update customer master records, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory and company standards.
  • Order Release Management: Support decision-making for order releases based on customer payment behaviour and risk classification.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Finance, and Operations, to ensure smooth credit approval and order release processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance efficiency in credit risk governance.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing reports on credit risk, customer payment trends, and key performance metrics.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Interest in credit control, financial analysis, or risk assessment.
  • Prior internship experience in a finance-related role is an advantage but not mandatory.
