Role Purpose
Responsible over the data analytics and insights to innovate, build, maintain and report fuel efficiency programme functions to support Manager, Fuel Efficiency. To manage and oversee 2 AOCs (MH and FY) fuel efficiency data analytics and insights with the appropriate KPI.
Key Accountability
- To analyse and report across the operations business units, across all airline AOCs (MH and FY) fuel efficiency data and CO2 emissions to Manager, Fuel Efficiency.
- To identify gaps and recommend innovation in fuel efficiency programme to Manager, Fuel Efficiency and other business units when required.
- To ensure data integrity and availability fit for analysis. To consolidate, plan, monitor and report fuel efficiency incremental annual cost savings and cost avoidance and CO2 emissions for 2 AOCs (MH and FY) for Manager, Fuel Efficiency.
- To prepare Management Paper and CBA for Manager, Fuel Efficiency.
- To assist and conduct change management, internal and external engagements with or in-lieu of Manager, Fuel Efficiency.
Qualifications & Working Experience
- Degree and/or aviation technical license in engineering and maintenance and/or flight operations and/or flight dispatch.
- More than 10 years working experience in the airlines industry, with knowledge in fuel efficiency and/or fuel operations and/or engineering and maintenance and/or flight dispatch and/or flight operations and/or process improvements and efficiencies and/or general airlines operations.
Skills & Knowledge
- Competent in data analytics and insights.
- Capable of multi-tasking and competent in project management.
- Competent in analysis report writing.
- Competent IT related skills (Microsoft Office, PowerBI) and comfortable working with numbers.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
