Core Objectives:

  • Provide support to the RTR Team in delivering professional and consistent service to stakeholders.
  • Resolve inquiries relating to RTR processes and enhance team effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of the RTR function in line with OKRs (Objective Key Results).
  • Assist with month-end close activities for assigned entities, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with the RTR Assistant Manager, team members, and internal stakeholders (e.g., SSC, country finance team).
  • Utilize general accounting knowledge to support financial operations and reporting.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, especially in email and written correspondence.
  • Display a positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn.7. Proactively seek clarity and ask questions to ensure a thorough understanding of tasks.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks and initiatives assigned by the RTR Assistant Manager.
  • Work under the guidance of senior team members and management to execute tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrate a moderate learning curve and become proficient within 3 months.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations as part of month-end processes.
  • Actively engage in process improvement projects to enhance the efficiency of operations.
  • Be a self-starter and take proactive ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Support the smooth transition of new tasks from the Country Finance Team to SSC RTR.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Essential Experience/Criteria:

  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the RTR function to meet OKRs.
  • Experience with general ledger month-end processes and reporting.
  • Ability to support month-end close for multiple entities.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working with internal stakeholders like SSC and country finance teams.
  • Solid general accounting knowledge with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in written and spoken communication.
  • Positive attitude, initiative, and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly, becoming hands-on within 3 months.
  • Familiar with preparing Balance Sheet Reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Willingness to participate in process improvement projects.

Desirable Experience/Criteria:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (RTR, accounting, or finance).
  • Experience in general ledger month-end processes.
  • Shared services experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate/advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Oracle or similar accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum 3.50/4.00 GPA and active extracurricular involvement.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are a plus.

Position Details:

  • Location: Bandar Utama
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Contract Duration: 1 year (Renewable)
