Assistant Manager, HR & Administration
Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide support to managers and employees.
Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing human resource and administrative functions within the organization. This role involves managing HR operations, supporting administrative staff, and coordinating with senior management and external stakeholders. The position also ensures compliance with company policies, labor laws, and operational standards while facilitating smooth administrative processes, including insurance, risk management, and farm operations. Additionally, the role represents the company in external meetings, including engagements with government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain skilled employees.
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including job postings, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
2. Employee Relations
- Act as the primary contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and support.
- Mediate workplace conflicts and foster a positive and productive work environment.
3. Performance Management & Employee Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations, including biosecurity, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Handle disciplinary matters and grievance resolution in line with company guidelines.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
- Conduct periodic salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation packages.
Administration
1. Office & Facility Management
- Manage office / farm operations, facility maintenance, and procurement of necessary resources.
- Work closely with farm operations to ensure efficient resource allocation and administrative support for on-site employees.
2. Budget & Cost Management
- Prepare and manage the HR & Administration budget, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial objectives.
3. Employee Welfare & Engagement
- Develop and implement wellness and engagement programs to enhance employee satisfaction, particularly for on-site workers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years proficient in Human Resources, Farm Operations, or related Business Administration.
- Knowledgeable in the Employment Act 1955.
- Experienced in HRMS, including Success Factor and payroll management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,800.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
