Account Executive

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in basic accounting principles and capable of managing a full set of accounts. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: • Apply basic accounting principles effectively. • Accurately and efficiently process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions. • Manage the company's full set of accounts, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, FA schedules, journal entries, P&L, and balance sheets. • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budget preparation as needed, to ensure accurate and timely submission. • Reconcile discrepancies in financial documentation and promptly resolve any issues. • Perform daily accounting duties and ensure timely capture of accounting records, including invoices, receipts, and payments, in the accounting system. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date. • Compile data and prepare reports as directed by the immediate superior for management purposes. • Support the Finance Manager/Accountant in various ad-hoc tasks, reporting, and analysis as needed. • Provide courteous and timely responses to inquiries and concerns. • Adhere to policies and confidentiality guidelines to safeguard data and information. • Demonstrate a willingness to learn quickly. Qualifications: • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
