1. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) a. Ensure implementation of SHE policies and practices at all locations b. Ensure the Company implements all the necessary SHE requirements as specified by the authorities c. Practice and promote SHE SOPs related to the work processes d. Carry-out gemba to find Unsafe Conditions & Unsafe Act (UCUA) e. Participate in Journey Management Plan to understand and improve SHE matters for the trade plate and transportation business 2. Leadership & Management a. Manage SHE implementations according to Company rules b. Work closely with HOD regarding all issues related to SHE c. Represent the Company in meeting with exteral parties and other stake holders 3. Relationship Management a. Handle all enquiries on SHE matters on behalf of the Company b. Liaison with Government agencies, local authorities, DRB-HICOM Group, customers and others as necessary 4. Compliance & Risk Management a. Ensure compliance with Company's policies and legal regulations b. Manage risks and mitigate issues related to Operations c. Submission of reports including IROSHE as and when is required or specified 5. Cross-functional collaboration a. Work closely with other departments within the Company to ensure uniform applications of SHE b. Liaison with Automotive Distribution (AD) and other DRB-HICOM Group of Companies c. Liaison with other stakeholders such as DOSH, Bomba, etc 6. Continuous Improvement a. Implement and support Company's improvement activities such as kaizen, suggestion scheme, Cost reduction program (CROP), etc 7. Any other duties as requested by superiors Knowledge: 1) Knowledgeable on SHE matters with official training such as Safety officer, safety committee, firefighting, first aid, etc 2) Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO14000 & ISO45000 3) Knowledge in SHE-related regulations, acts and policies Skills: 1) Strong ability on MS Office applications 2) Possess planning, analytical, problem solving and presentation skills 3) Good interpersonal and communication skills Abilities: 1) Good communication skills spoken and written especially in English & Bahasa 2) Attention to details and organizational skills
