  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The SE Asia Rainforest Research Partnership (SEARRP), via its not-for-profit company Rainforest Research Sdn Bhd, is looking to hire a Data Manager to join our team for an initial period of 2-years (renewable - subject to mutual agreement and funding). The main tasks and responsibilities are: Manage, validate and quality-check data from the Permian, Sabah Biodiversity Experiment and other centrally managed SEARRP projects Liaise with SEARRP scientists re the provision of historic (raw) datasets Under the direction of SEARRP Director and Senior SEARRP scientists, design accessible platforms for data sharing Establish data storage facilities and protocols Support Senior SEARRP scientists in the analysis of SEARRP datasets The successful candidate will spend a significant period of time in Sabah, Malaysia in the field running of several projects. Candidates with prior experience are preferred. Requirements: BSc degree level in an Ecological discipline At least 5-years’ experience in data management in the field environment Fluent in BM and English for both oral and written communications An ability to work independently, self-motivated and self-discipline. Familiar with modern database and information system technologies Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, etc) Application Procedure: Applicants will be shortlisted and interested applicants are invited to submit a full CV, names and contact details of two referees and a cover letter outlining your interest and fit for the post to [email protected] Salary: A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered.
