  • Oversee the full spectrum of finance, including timely financial and management reporting
  • Plan and control the company's cash flow, funding, and budget allocation
  • Manage end-to-end financial processes, including collections, payments, monthly close activities, and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, accounting systems, controls, and procedures
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports
  • Establish and improve internal control procedures for better accounting and reporting systems
  • Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with company strategy
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and assist in managing audit processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external parties such as solicitors, bankers, and statutory organizations
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance/accounts team
  • Participate in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process for the group of companies
  • Analyze and prepare relevant documents for the IPO exercise under the CFO's guidance
  • Assist in coordinating with different departments and external advisors during the Due Diligence Exercise
  • Ensure post-IPO compliance and disclosure per listing requirements
  • Undertake other projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
  • Professional membership (MIA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on month-end close and financial reporting, particularly in the consumer durable product industry
  • Experience with consolidated group accounts
  • Proven ability to manage monthly financial reporting cycles and work with accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (MFRS)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with senior management and other departments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in corporate finance is an added advantage
  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality and handle sensitive matters tactfully
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to communicate effectively in a Mandarin-speaking environment
