Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Analysis: Perform detailed design and analysis of electromagnetic components including transformers, actuators, and other related systems using Ansys Maxwell and Motor-CAD.
  • Simulation: Conduct simulations to evaluate performance, efficiency, and reliability of electromagnetic designs. Use advanced techniques to optimize designs based on simulation results.
  • Optimization: Implement design modifications and improvements based on simulation outcomes and performance metrics. Ensure designs meet specified requirements and standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electromagnetic designs into larger systems. Provide technical support and insights during the design and development phases.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of simulation results, design changes, and project outcomes. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in electromagnetic design and simulation, with hands-on expertise in using Ansys Maxwell and Motor-CAD.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering – ECE / EEE / a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electromagnetic design and simulation tools, including Ansys Maxwell, Motor-CAD, and related software. Experience with transformer and actuator design is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex simulation data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other simulations tools related to electromagnetic design and analysis.
