We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our publishing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, proficiency in industry-standard software, and the ability to create compelling visual content for both print and digital platforms. This role involves working on book layouts, marketing materials, and social media graphics while ensuring consistency with the company’s branding and publishing standards. Interest or experience in AI-assisted design tools is a plus but not required.

1. Desktop Publishing & Print Media Design

  • Design and format book layouts, brochures, newsletters, and academic materials.
  • Develop visually appealing book covers and interior pages that align with publishing standards.
  • Prepare artwork for posters, flyers, event materials, and packaging designs.
  • Ensure all print files are properly prepared for high-quality production and liaise with printers when necessary.

    2. Marketing & Promotional Materials

    • Create engaging promotional materials such as banners, brochures, and MARCOM assets.
    • Develop digital assets for websites, email marketing, and mobile applications.
    • Maintain visual consistency across all marketing materials, aligning with brand identity and objectives.

      3. Social Media & Digital Content Creation

      • Design eye-catching graphics, banners, and visuals for various social media platforms.
      • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling visual content for digital campaigns.
      • Stay updated on design trends to produce fresh, relevant, and engaging content.

        4. Quality Control & Brand Consistency

        • Review all design work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
        • Apply feedback from senior team members and stakeholders to refine and improve designs.
        • Maintain organized design files and templates for efficient workflow management.

          5. Event & Function Support

          • Design materials for company events, workshops, and training sessions.
          • Assist in event branding and visual display coordination.

            6. Additional Creative & Ad Hoc Tasks

            • Support additional design projects as needed, ensuring flexibility in creative execution.
            • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative design ideas.

  • Experience: Fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills : Profiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), strong understanding of typography, composition & colour theory, knowledge of print production processes & file preparation, basic UI/UX principles for digital content are a plus & familiarity with AI-assisted design tools (optional but beneficial).
  • Soft Skills : Creativity & strong attention to detail, ability to handle multiple projects & meet deadlines, good communication & collaboration skills, & willingness to explore & adapt to new design technologies.
