About The Role:

Ureka Media Malaysia is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager/Senior Executive to join our growing business development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in trading, on-field trading business, or distribution, specifically in the HORECA sector (within the hospitality industry, including but not limited to food and beverage, accommodation, travel and tourism, and/or entertainment and recreation). This role involves acquiring business partners for advertising screens in bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs, entertainment outlets, and other related retail businesses.

Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess at least Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in trading, on-field trading business, or distribution in the HORECA sector.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including but not limited to food and beverage, accommodation, travel and tourism, and/or entertainment and recreation.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships with hotels, bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs, entertainment outlets, and other related retail businesses.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin proficiency will be an added advantage.
  • A Malaysian citizen or resident with a valid work permit.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the HORECA sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs, entertainment outlets, and other relatable retail businesses to distribute our advertising screens.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential partners and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with new partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
