What challenges can you expect?
- Your primary responsibility is to perform trouble shooting, electrical / fluid testing, repairs and fluid services of transformers, rectifiers, regulators, GIS and high voltage components
- Performing electrical wire installation and connection as well as oil handling on transformers will be within your responsibility
- Furthermore, you will handle mechanical work as required such as change of gasket, spare parts, transformer paint touch up and tanks leak repair
- You will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, while walking through customers' sites, inspect problem(s) and report problem(s) to sales is going to be just as important
- All work and decisions shall be conducted in strict compliance of all regulatory laws
- Ideally, you should have minimum 5 years of experience with High Voltage Power Transformer and Gas Insulated High-Voltage Switchgear maintenance
- You possessed a Grid Contractor Qualified Person (GQCP) certificate
- You are able to read Electrical wiring diagrams
- Additionally, you are able to work beyond normal office hours, on shifts and overnight at very short notice when project requires
- You are willing to work on transformer oil and in outdoors environment on certain projects
- You are a hard-working person with enthusiasm to develop
- You are able and willing to climb on top of equipment during work
- You have a D Class driving license
- Last but not least, you must be able to communicate in English
