Role Description
This is a full-time role which based in Kuala Lumpur with the flexibility to work from home. The Accounting Consultant will be responsible for tasks such as bookkeeping, financial reporting, liaising with auditors, tax agents as well as our clients.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Once settled in Acclime, your role will include:
- Assist in bookkeeping and other accounting practices.
- Checks and validates that the accounting entries input by clients to ensure compliance with Accounting Principles and Malaysia Income Tax Act
- Timely identify possible accounting and tax compliance issues and communicate these to the manager
- Consulting services to SMEs on accounting process improvements / automation of finance function
- Preparation of Full Set Accounts includes reconciliation and submission of reporting packages depending on the requirements of your client.
- Preparation of audited/unaudited financial statement
- Liaise with auditors, corporate tax agents and related government agencies
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors
- You are important in liaising with clients directly at the client’s site to get technical & operational insights for project assignments.
Essential Requirements and Key Selection Criteria
To be successful, you will need to have the following skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-team, global environment
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for consistency
- Able to communicate with client independently
To qualify for the role, you must have : -
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Understands MFRS and MPERS and is able to apply these different standards
- Familiar with Accounting Software (Xero, SQL, QBO) will be an added advantage
- Excel in advanced level
- Independent and fast learner
