Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the retail sector (preferably 2 years in a managerial position).
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficient in office programs (especially advanced use of MS Excel).
- Curious about researching and understanding consumer needs, preferences, expectations, styles, insights, and shopping motivations.
- Closely follows fashion and trends; knowledgeable in ready-to-wear garment production and basic fabric properties.
- Able to evaluate store visual applications with a commercial perspective.
- Adaptable to change and possesses learning agility.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills, experienced in analysis and reporting.
- Capable of setting priorities and managing time effectively.
- Team-oriented, successful in interpersonal relationships and stakeholder communication.
Job Description:
- Contributes to collection and product development processes by monitoring changing customer expectations in the assigned product group and region, considering economic and climatic conditions and evolving trends.
- Observes and understands consumer attitudes and expectations regarding products and brands, reflecting persona-based insights into collections and contributing to cluster-based budget and range planning.
- Identifies prominent trends and demands at the region/cluster level by observing the needs of categories, special days, and periods based on customer personas. Analyzes and determines the ideal product mix in the responsible stores and places product requests accordingly.
- Evaluates the upcoming season’s collection based on the customer profiles of the responsible stores. Excludes unsuitable products considering climatic and socio-cultural preferences and requests products that cater to differentiated customer preferences and expectations specific to the region, which are not part of the global collection.
- Identifies “Key Item and Key Trend” product demands of customers based on personas, communicates these to the relevant product teams, and requests necessary products.
- Collaborates with relevant teams to create Ideal Product Mix and Range Plans for the responsible product group on a reference cluster basis and ensures that orders align with the range plan.
- Participates in weekly trading meetings with stakeholder teams, provides updates on social media influencers, street fashion, and rapidly emerging trends, and shares fast-track production opportunities with product teams.
In the responsible stores:
- Conducts customer segmentation studies, grouping customers according to their clothing styles, and determines the presence and potential of these personas in stores.
- Identifies the phases of trends in the “Boston Matrix” based on personas and assesses the sales potential of each trend, sharing insights with relevant teams.
- Examines the sales pace of products in stock and implements/suggests visual activities to maximize sales potential.
- Carries out structured qualitative and quantitative market research fieldwork in line with the requests of stakeholder units.
