Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior SCADA Engineer, SCADA Manager, Engineering Manager, and Senior Engineering & Design Manager in delivering high-quality designs for railway SCADA Mainline and Metro systems.
  • Develop and review SCADA designs, specifications, and drawings, ensuring they meet all technical, professional, and industry standards.
  • Optimize design efficiency by leveraging existing templates and best practices, enhancing both quality and speed of documentation.
  • Ensure detailed designs comply with relevant engineering and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Continuously enhance professional and technical skills through ongoing training and development.
  • Identify and resolve design queries by raising Requests for Information (RFI) and Technical Queries (TQ) as needed.
  • Implement and monitor design changes throughout basic and detailed engineering stages.
  • Provide hands-on design support for staged work, installation, and commissioning processes.
  • Update and manage Site Change Requests (SCR), ensuring smooth integration of on-site modifications into final designs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders by attending and contributing to internal and external design meetings.
  • Offer expert support to Installation, Testing & Commissioning, Production, Interface, Requirements, System Assurance, and Project Management teams.
  • Oversee the quality control of all external design deliverables from detailed design through to As-Built submission.
  • Maintain accurate records of Production Checking copies, Error Logs, and Task Sheets, ensuring meticulous documentation and accountability.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation within the DMS (Document Management System) server, upholding structured and accessible data management.
