Job Description
- Conducting daily site inspections and monitoring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
- Providing safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors
- Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Maintaining comprehensive safety documentation and records
- Collaborating with project managers and site teams to identify and mitigate safety risks
- Ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on site
- Liaising with regulatory authorities and conducting audits as required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years' experience as a Safety Coordinator/ Safety Supervisor in the construction industry
- Passed Safety Coordinator Course accredited by Niosh or related bodies
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office & digital tools (when required)
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently
- Contract basis (yearly renewal).
Salary
- Starting RM2,000 and above.
