  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Informix 4GL Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications using Informix 4GL, Informix SQL, and related database technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in software development, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain applications using Informix 4GL and Informix SQL.
  • Design, optimize, and manage Informix databases.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Enhance existing applications and develop new modules.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, and documentation.
  • Support system integration and deployment activities.
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application functionality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Informix 4GL programming.
  • Experience with Informix SQL, stored procedures, and database design.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
  • Experience with debugging and performance tuning in Informix databases.
  • Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other programming languages like C, Java, or Python.
  • Knowledge of ERP or financial applications built on Informix 4GL.
