WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Job Description :
1. Lead and manage a team of warehouse executives, supervisors, coordinators, and staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
2. Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
3. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, on-time delivery, and labor productivity.
4. Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
5. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
6. Ensure all departments and work environment is neat, organized and as clean as possible (5s).
7. Ensure physical security of goods to prevent theft and losses.
8. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to optimize warehouse efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
9. Liase with hauliers for container inbound coordination.
10. Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads.
11. Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
12. Implementing operational policies and procedures.
13. Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
14. Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
15. Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
16. Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
17. To revise operation processes for improvement.
18. Other tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.
19. Reports to W&D/Operation Manager.
Requirements :
1. Candidate must possess at least a Degree, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma.
2. Knowledge Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale warehouse operations and leading teams to achieve operational excellence.
3. At least 5 years of working experience as a warehouse manager in the related field is required for this position.
4. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and safety regulations.
5. Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities.
6. Preferably Managers specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
7. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Proficient computer skills.
10. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
11. Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
12. Available to work extended hours if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
