Job description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Safety & Health implementation programs in the organization, identify hazards and assess risks to safety and health and put appropriate safety health controls in place.
  • To ensure compliance with all Safety & Health Requirements and standards, and also inculcate a safety culture throughout the company's operation.
  • Centralize the monitoring and reporting of safety & health performance. Develop a safety & health management plan and safety & health event calendar for all operations.
  • To develop, implement and monitor MSPO documentation including as well as safety and health requirements and environmental-related regulations.
  • To assist Safety & Health in all matters relating to MSPO compliance which includes all documentation and implementations of compliance & sustainability.
  • Responsible for all documentation regarding legal, MSPO, data process etc. To make sure all reports regarding legal compliance are submitted on time and assist other departments in compiling data or supplying the data to them.
  • To conduct MSPO briefings and trainings to ensure estate operations are in compliance with all state and federal Environmental and sustainability, MSPO. Develop and execute a training and awareness strategy and implement compliance & sustainability training.
  • Liaise with various departments to compile information and documents relating to compliance & sustainability and MSPO certification.
  • Perform and document the compliance planning process defining and prioritizing forthcoming all activities related to MSPO certification to sufficiently address regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Prepare and update relevant reports or data to management.
  • Any other ad hoc assignment required by management.

Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
  • Possess valid Green Book
  • At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Safety & Health Management / MSPO certification, with experience in the Oil Palm Plantation industry being highly preferred.
  • Must be willing to work in Bakong Oil Palm Plantation, Miri.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia languages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
