Business Development (Agriculture)
The Business Development (BD) in Agriculture is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with stakeholders, and driving revenue growth in the agricultural industry. This includes understanding market trends, negotiating partnerships, and working closely with internal teams to ensure successful market penetration and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
•Market Research & Strategy:
oAnalyze agricultural market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
oDevelop and implement business strategies to increase market share in the agriculture sector.
•Business Development:
oIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients in the agriculture industry.
oBuild relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, government bodies, and agribusinesses.
•Sales & Revenue Growth:
oWork closely with the sales team to generate new leads and close deals.
oAchieve sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue goals.
•Negotiation & Contract Management:
oNegotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
oOversee the preparation and execution of agreements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
•Client Relationship Management:
oFoster long-term relationships with key clients and partners, providing tailored solutions that meet their agricultural needs.
oProvide post-sale support and ensure customer satisfaction.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration:
oCollaborate with the product development, marketing, and operational teams to align strategies and solutions with client needs.
oProvide feedback on market demands to guide product or service improvements.
Qualifications:
•Education:
oBachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related fields. A Master’s degree is a plus.
•Skills:
oStrong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
oIn-depth understanding of the agricultural market and its trends.
oAbility to analyze data and use insights to make informed business decisions.
oProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Personal Attributes:
oProactive and self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
oStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
oExcellent interpersonal and networking skills.
o Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
