Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial modeling.
- Provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights to the MY CFO, senior management, and school leadership teams to support decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting methodologies, and forecasting accuracy.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Evaluate business issues, develop solutions, and recommend changes to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Ensure the accuracy of regular forecasting and budgeting processes across schools.
Management Reporting & Business Insights
- Oversee the monthly management accounts reporting and analysis to drive strategic decisions at both Group and School levels.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and strategic recommendations based on financial performance trends.
- Work closely with finance and leadership teams to create a structured system for regular forecasts and budgets.
- Prepare financial models for evaluating new business opportunities, projects, capital expenditures, and investment appraisals.
- Analyse and report monthly capital expenditure actuals, forecasts, and variances.
- Support the preparation and review of 5-year strategic business plans for schools.
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering
- Act as a key liaison between finance and other departments to ensure financial goals align with overall business objectives.
- Support country and campus leadership teams on financial matters, new projects, and operational developments.
- Work with Group Finance, IT, and School teams to improve financial systems and reporting efficiencies.
- Ensure best practices in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting are implemented across schools.
- Identify opportunities and potential risks to business growth and financial stability, implementing plans to manage them proactively.
Financial Systems, Processes & Controls
- Ensure financial reporting systems are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
- Consolidate new acquisitions and greenfield schools into existing reporting structures, ensuring seamless integration.
- Oversee alignment of business and accounting processes for newly acquired entities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the group’s chart of accounts to improve reporting accuracy.
- Set clear KPIs for teams and individuals to drive performance and accountability.
