  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, assessing their performance and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies. Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement and contract management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and developments in the renewable energy sector to inform procurement strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and market conditions to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, tender management, and contract negotiation, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, project financing, and industry regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex tenders and contracts with attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
