POSITION SUMMARY

  • Assist the Group Communications Manager with communications and branding projects and day-to-day communication tasks for the Group and its subsidiaries. Help achieve Group objectives by developing and delivering content and messages strategic to the need and direction of the Group.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the writing, editing, and delivery of press releases, annual reports, speeches, and other collaterals that communicate the Group’s or its subsidiaries’ activities, products and/or services.
  • Develop a robust corporate identity for subsidiaries and maintain the accuracy of standard logo guidelines from time to time.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationship with journalists and maintain an extended media database.
  • Respond to media inquiries and coordinate press interviews, events and programs for the Group and its Board of Directors.
  • Work across different departments and subsidiaries for branding and communication projects.
  • Update Group website as and when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree/Professional Qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Business Management or any other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the related field / industry.
  • Proficiency in design and publishing software such as Adobe applications is an added advantage.
  • Possess good planning and time management skills.
  • Dynamic, able to multi-task and able to deliver work on time.
  • Excellent communication skills, spoken and written.
  • Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia.
