We are seeking a dedicated and skilled English Language Instructor to join our esteemed ELS Language Centers team in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Academic Director or Academic Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality English language education through effective planning, teaching, and evaluation of assigned classes in alignment with our established curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned ELS academic programs while ensuring adherence to the curriculum.
  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans, exercises, and assessments tailored to student needs.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Create and maintain an engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to coordinate instruction, attendance, and evaluations.
  • Fulfill administrative duties as required, including maintaining accurate student records.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, contributing to both personal and organizational growth.
  • Assist Associate English Language Instructors and provide guidance as needed.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of classroom resources and educational materials.
  • Participate in meetings and help disseminate information regarding extracurricular activities.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, TELF, or TESOL, or a BA/BSc Degree with CELTA or TEFL/TESOL certification (minimum 160-hour).
  • At least 5 years of relevant ESL/EFL teaching experience, both face-to-face and online.
  • Native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa.
