Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.
  • Order Fulfilment: Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. Implement and optimize order fulfilment processes to meet delivery deadlines and collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch of goods.
  • Warehouse Organization: Design and maintain an efficient layout for the warehouse. Implement a systematic approach for storing and retrieving products, and monitor and streamline workflows to minimize bottlenecks.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies for efficient operations. Train and support staff in using technology tools for order processing and inventory control.
  • Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control standards for inbound and outbound items. Implement inspection procedures to identify and address product defects.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise staff, providing guidance and support. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance employee skills and productivity, and foster a positive work culture that emphasizes teamwork and accountability.
  • Safety / Security Compliance: Enforce safety and security protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment. Conduct regular safety and security training for all personnel and address and resolve any safety and security concerns promptly.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service teams to address order-related inquiries or issues. Implement processes to ensure accurate order picking and on-time delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders processed, and shipments made. Generate regular reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work weekend shifts and flexibility to do overtime when the business requires.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree; a degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
