About The Job
We are looking for a Product Owner who will take ownership of a mobile application, ensuring it is functional, user-friendly, and continuously improving. This is a hybrid role combining Product Ownership and Quality Assurance, where you will identify issues, suggest improvements, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the app experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the app’s overall experience—identify areas for improvement and propose solutions
- Analyze and test app functionality to ensure seamless user experiences
- Create and prioritize tickets for the technical team to address product enhancements and bug fixes
- Work closely with CEO to enhance usability and benchmark against competitors
- Collaborate with stakeholders & QA teams to ensure product quality across different versions (US, CA, AU, etc.)
- Track and validate feature releases, ensuring alignment with the roadmap
- Advocate for the user perspective, ensuring features make sense from a real-world standpoint
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management
- Experience in functional testing (QA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand technical product functionalities and usability
- Experience working with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Trello, etc.)
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with different teams
- Prior experience in UI/UX or competitor analysis
- Understanding of mobile app performance testing
- Basic knowledge of scripting or automation testing (not mandatory)
- Familiarity with mobile testing tools (Appium, TestFlight, Firebase, etc.) is a plus
