Job Summary

Neoscience Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Field Service Engineer Manager to lead our technical service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing field service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficiency of service delivery. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise and a customer-centric approach.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the field service engineering team to provide high-quality technical support and maintenance services.
  2. Train and mentor field service engineers to enhance technical skills and service capabilities.
  3. Oversee the scheduling and coordination of field service activities, ensuring timely response to customer requests and adherence to service agreements.
  4. Develop and implement service strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  5. Act as the primary point of contact for escalated service issues, providing technical support and guidance to engineers as needed.
  6. Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance service delivery.
  7. Maintain strong relationship with customers, addressing concerns and gathering feedback for continuous improvement
  8. Prepare and present regular reports on service performance, customer feedback and operational efficiency to management.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in biomedical engineering/ mechanical engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in field service engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of medical diagnostics, life science research equipment and related technologies, including Molecular Diagnostics, Clinical Diagnostics, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and laboratory instrumentation.
  4. Excellent leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
  7. Must have own transport and willing to travel extensively within Malaysia & Overseas.
