Our client is a well-known Food & Beverage Manufacturing. In order to support rapid and aggressive expansion, our client is looking for a talented and dynamic professional to join them as the Microbiologist.
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee microbiological aspects of in-process and finished products, ensuring conformity to
quality specifications.
• Coordinate and conduct periodic plant microbiological and hygiene audits.
• Support troubleshooting in microbiological hygiene issues and drive continuous
improvement initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with QCOM requirements.
• Develop daily work plans for laboratory activities to ensure timely analysis and accurate
results.
• Conduct microbiological testing, trend analysis, and generate reports for continuous
improvement.
• Manage microbiological lab inventory through SAP, including yeast management planning.
• Validate and maintain analytical instrument calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Review and update analytical methods, ensuring compliance with BAPS-M and QCOM
requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement and review microbiological and hygiene
management activities.
• Provide troubleshooting support on microbiological and hygiene aspects to cross-functional
stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to occupational health, safety, and environmental practices, identifying
and resolving safety hazards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
Job requirements:
• Must have experience working in clean room environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in food & beverage quality assurance with a focus on
microbiology.
• Proficient in microbiology lab techniques (aseptic technique, plating, etc.) and knowledge of
ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety standards.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be fluent in mandarin language.
