Responsibilities:

  • To source new materials and suppliers locally and overseas at competitive pricing.
  • Understand market demand and supply trend for strategic planning.
  • To analyze market and prepare cost comparison analysis report.
  • To liaise and work closely with suppliers and other departments to ensure efficiency achieved.
  • Compare and evaluate supplier's performance.
  • Review quality of purchased products.
  • To maintain proper documentation filing and records.
  • Overseeing, managing and improving procurement process flow and function.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent.
  • At least 4 - 5 year(s) of relevant working experience.
  • Preferably candidates specialising in Purchasing/Inventory/Material or equivalent.
  • Candidates who are experienced in the Textile/Garment industry will have added advantages.
  • Proficiency in communicating and writing in Mandarin and English. Candidates able to speak and type in Mandarin will have added advantages
  • Able to travel overseas when necessary (attend exhibition for sourcing materials)
