Responsibilities:
- To source new materials and suppliers locally and overseas at competitive pricing.
- Understand market demand and supply trend for strategic planning.
- To analyze market and prepare cost comparison analysis report.
- To liaise and work closely with suppliers and other departments to ensure efficiency achieved.
- Compare and evaluate supplier's performance.
- Review quality of purchased products.
- To maintain proper documentation filing and records.
- Overseeing, managing and improving procurement process flow and function.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent.
- At least 4 - 5 year(s) of relevant working experience.
- Preferably candidates specialising in Purchasing/Inventory/Material or equivalent.
- Candidates who are experienced in the Textile/Garment industry will have added advantages.
- Proficiency in communicating and writing in Mandarin and English. Candidates able to speak and type in Mandarin will have added advantages
- Able to travel overseas when necessary (attend exhibition for sourcing materials)
